St Edmund's College is a graduate college with 50 Fellows and 350 student members, together with some mature students studying as undergraduates. It’s committed to the support of its members, who are operating across all educational disciplines studying for degrees of the University of Cambridge and/or carrying out research. A relaxed and cordial atmosphere is inspired, during which students and Fellows combine freely. The college is noted for the strength of its international community regarding two-thirds of the scholars are from some 60 countries, and one-third are United Kingdom residents.
The College works with the Cambridge Trust to supply a variety of scholarships for ph.D. students, Luzio Vice-Chancellor's Award (awarded every year), and Duke of Edinburgh and Charter Vice-Chancellor's Award or Cambridge International Scholarship (awarded every 3 years). the 2 organizations are also joined by donor Mr. Gopal Chand Anand to supply the Peter Kishor Chand Anand Cambridge Scholarship, for Indian students taking a Master’s degree at the college.
