Selwyn College that opened in 1882 is home to around 360 undergraduates, a hundred thirty graduates, and sixty Fellows. The college forms an educational community committed to excellence in teaching, learning, and research.
The graduate community is notable for its diversity and cosmopolitan atmosphere, with quite one-third of its students coming from outside the United Kingdom.
The College and its Hamilton Fund work with the Cambridge Trust to supply the Hamilton Cambridge International Scholarship, obtainable to Ph.D. candidates in any subject. The scholarship isn't awarded each year, and can next be obtainable for students at the beginning of their research in 2020-21.
