The Lego Foundation aims to create a future in which learning through play empowers children to become creative, engaged, life-long learners. It hopes to change attitudes and behaviors towards learning through play, by supporting high-quality research.
The Foundation has partnered with the University of Cambridge to determine a brand new Centre for research on Play in Education, Development and Learning at the College of Education. Within that project, there are scholarships, co-funded by the Lego Foundation and also the Cambridge Trust, for Ph.D. students during this field of study.
