LMB Cambridge Scholarship

The primary goal of the MRC Laboratory of molecular biology is to grasp biological processes at the molecular level, with the ultimate aim of using this information to tackle specific issues in human health and illness.

The LMB is one amongst the birthplaces of recent molecular biology. Several techniques were pioneered at the laboratory, most notably the sequencing of deoxyribonucleic acid. Over the years, the work of LMB scientists has attracted 11 Nobel prizes shared amongst 16 LMB scientists, moreover as varied alternative prizes and scientific awards.

The LMB works with the Cambridge Trust to supply the LMB Cambridge Scholarship, that is obtainable to Ph.D. candidates to the Laboratory. 

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines

There is no separate application for this scholarship, and initial applications should be created to the University of Cambridge via the traditional procedure. However, candidates who are eligible for an LMB.
