Davis United World College (UWC) Scholars are excellent young people who have graduated from a UWC school and then enrolled at selected U.S. colleges or universities. The UWC experience—which brings students from around the world to live and learn together in one of 17 locations on five continents—has challenged them academically and personally, extended their field aggressively, and presented them how to build understanding from diversity.
Once UWC graduates registered in one of our partner U.S. colleges or universities, our program offers financial support for their undergraduate educations through institutional offers that support need-based scholarships for Davis UWC Scholars.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
Those Davis UWC Scholars who apply and qualify for need-based financial aid through our Office of Student Financial Services are also eligible for financial support from the Davis UWC Scholars Program for their undergraduate educations.
Letters may be presented at any time during the academic year, but no later than May 31, so that decisions can be rendered each year in August.
No separate application is required.
Value
The Davis UWC Scholars Program makes offers only to institutions and not directly to any individual student. Awards are in support of need-based scholarship grants to eligible graduates of the United World College schools worldwide who matriculate at the selected schools.
