The Korean Government Scholarship undergraduate program is awarded to the international students who wish to pursue a four-year undergraduate program at Seoul National University (SNU).
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be an International student enrolled for a full-time undergraduate program at Seoul National University.
Note: Korean language training is mandatory and the student who fails to achieve TOPIK 3 within a year will not be eligible to attend the degree program. Also, the students enrolling for a course longer than 4 years will not be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
How to Apply:
- Submit the application for this program at Korean Embassy in the applicant’s home country. As the embassy makes the first selection and the final selection will be made by the National Institute for International Education.
Value
The scholarship covers full time tuition, living expenses of 800,000 KRW per month, Airfare that includes one economy class ticket for the round trip, Korean language training fee for one year and medical insurance, research fund, thesis printing fees, settlement and returning expenses.
