Silk Road Scholarship

The Silk-Road scholarship is awarded to the students who wish to pursue humanities, social science, Korean language, history, culture, politics, and economics at Seoul National University (SNU). The students from Silk Road locality are eligible to contest for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:

To be eligible, an applicant:

- Should be from the Silk Road locality studying humanities, social science, Korean language, history, culture, politics, and economics.

How to Apply:

- Submit the admission application at SNU’s Office of Admissions.

- Submit scholarship application to Office of International Affairs.

Value
The scholarship covers full time tuition exemption and Living expenses of 600,000 KRW per month for 4 Semesters, Airfare up to 1 million KRW for one economy class ticket for the round trip and Korean Language exemption fee.

During Admission period every fall semester

Validity
This scholarship is valid for four semesters
