McAllen Higher Education Center Scholarships

The McAllen scholarship is awarded by Texas A and M Higher education center to the outstanding first-year freshmen. This scholarship has been categorized into Pioneer Scholars and PALM (Passionate Aggies Leading McAllen) Scholars. This award can be utilized only at McAllen Higher education center.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:

To be eligible, an applicant:

• Should be an enrolled full-time freshman at the McAllen Higher Education Center who has not attended any other college or university.

• Should maintain an overall GPA of 2.5

• Should complete 30 semester credit hours per year (30/60/90)

How to Apply:

• A student must apply using the Apply Texas Application or the Coalition Application.

Value
The Scholarship awards $5,000 per year for Pioneer Scholars and $2500 per year for Passionate Aggies Leading McAllen Scholars.
