The Charles M. Goethe Memorial Scholarship is awarded to the freshman, sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing Arts and Humanities, Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences at UC Berkley.

To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing Arts and Humanities, Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences at the university.
- Should be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or International Students
