The Consuelo W. Gosnell Memorial MSW Scholarship is awarded to the Senior, Graduate Student pursuing in the area of Public Service, Social and Behavioral Sciences at UC Berkley.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be a senior and graduate student pursuing in the area of Public Service, Social and Behavioral Sciences at the university.
- Should be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, International Students
- Should have minimum GPA of 3.0
- Should be an NASW member and have applied to or have been accepted into an accredited MSW program

Documents Required:
An applicant should submit
- Personal essay
- Transcripts
- Two Letters of Recommendation (Continuing graduate students must also provide a letter from an academic advisor)
- Personal essay regarding career goals/interests; relevant work; volunteer and school/field experience; statement of merit and need for award.
- Documentation demonstrating financial need.
- Four copies of the complete application package; If the applicant is not currently enrolled in an accredited MSW program, provide the letter of acceptance from the program, or a copy of the application, with expected date of notification of acceptance.
