The Emma Nylen Scholarship is awarded to the freshman, sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing Arts and Humanities, Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences at UC Berkley.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing Arts and Humanities, Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences at the university.
- Should be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident or International Students
- Should be under age 30 and once a member of Ventura County preferred.

- Two Letter of Recommendation
- Personal Essay describing 1) What are your career goals? 2) How do your personal values relate to your career goals? 3) What are your motivations in continuing your education
