The HENAAC Scholars Program awards to the freshman, sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student pursuing Engineering and Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Natural Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences at UC Berkley.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student pursuing Engineering and Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Natural Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences at the university.
- Should be a Hispanic origin and/or must significantly participate in and promote organizations and activities in the Hispanic community
- Should be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident and International Students
- Should have minimum 3.0 GPA
How to Apply:
An applicant must sign in to the scholarship portal https://gmis-scholars.org/ to complete a scholarship application at the UC Berkley.
Documents Required:
- Transcripts
- Two Letters of Recommendation 1 from peer, 1 from college advisor, MEP Director, Dean or Faulty member
- Resume
- Personal Essay 700 words describing how this scholarship will help with your long-term goals
