The Tang Scholarship is awarded to the freshman, sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student pursuing Arts and Humanities, Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Public Service, Social and Behavioral Sciences at UC Berkley.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be a the freshman, sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student pursuing Arts and Humanities, Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Public Service, Social and Behavioral Sciences at the university.
- Should be a Minority or LGBT
- Should be an Asian/Pacific Islander (at least 25% API ancestry). Graduate from a high school in one of the nine Bay Area counties; Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara County, Napa, Sonoma or Solano.
- Should be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Should have minimum 3.0 GPA
- Should be between the age of 17 and 25 on 30 April 2012
