The Outstanding International Student Award is a one-time, merit-based entrance scholarship awarded to qualified students who have received an offer of admission to the University of British Columbia. The students are shortlisted for the award on the basis of their academic strength and involvement outside of the classroom. The students planning to pursue undergraduate education in Canada can contest for this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
• Should be new to the University of British Columbia, joining directly from secondary school or post-secondary. (University or College)
• Should be an international student who is willing to study at the University of British Columbia on a Canadian study permit (student visa).
Note: Changes in citizenship status will affect the scholarship eligibility.
• Should have a strong academic record and must have involved in extracurricular activities.
• Students who appear for a need- and- merit-based international scholars award are not eligible for this scholarship.
How to Apply:
The applicant must apply for this scholarship during the time of admission.
