The Becas Magdalena O.Vda de Brockmann was founded in 1992 by Guillermo Brockmann, in honor of his late mother. It enables talented young Mexicans to obtain high-quality postgraduate education abroad. The Foundation works with the Cambridge Trust to offer the Brockmann Cambridge Scholarship, which is available to Master's applicants from Mexico in any subject.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
Likewise, a suitable candidate is the one who has prepared with time, researching options of universities carefully, both for the quality of the academic program and for the cost-benefit ratio it offers, in order to ensure obtaining a scholarship and income to one or several quality universities. This implies:
Make congruent decisions taking advantage of the tuition reduction offers and agreements that this Foundation has established with universities and / or institutions so that the selected programs represent the best investment.
Have considerable savings.
Have a job offer in writing for once the master's degree is finished, even if it is conditional, and preferably from an entity that financially supports the study of the master's degree.
Have financial support, or be in the process of requesting funds from other institutions, be they foundations, government offices, companies or other entities that grant scholarships (We offer a list here).
Have a consistent, well-developed and documented financial plan, based on realistic figures.
Having low-cost university options or subsidized programs, and in particular, having a “security option”.
Have an admission letter to one or more universities, which may be deferred from the previous year.
Scholars are required to return to work in Mexico within 2 years of completing their course in Cambridge.
This scholarship is available to Mexican applicants for Master's degrees in any subject.
In addition to applying to the University of Cambridge, candidates must apply to Becas Magdalena O.Vda de Brockmann.
Value
University tuition fee (in the case of applicants for the MBA and MFin, the scholarship will pay the Fee at the average science rate, i.e. not the full Fee). Annual stipend (sufficient for a single person).
Deadline
There will be two general course deadlines of December 3 and January 7.
Validity
This scholarship is tenable for 2 years.
