Cambridge Australia Scholarships is a non-profit organization that offers scholarships for outstanding Australian graduates to undertake Masters and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Cambridge.
Since it is in the 1980s (as the Cambridge Australia Trust), over 350 scholarships have been granted, under a variety of schemes, many of them named after donors or eminent Australian alumni. CAS relies on the kindness of its donors, and all its scholarships are financed by private philanthropic gifts.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
All applications for both a place and a scholarship must be made through the Graduate Admissions Office at the University of Cambridge.
By offering one Graduate Application Form (GAF) per course you will be considered for:
Admission to a course of graduate study or research by the appropriate Department or Faculty at Cambridge;
Admission to a College by one or more of the Cambridge Colleges; and
Aid offered by the Cambridge Commonwealth, European & International Trust.
Note that all scholars at Cambridge are required to be a member of one of the Cambridge Colleges
Value
Masters: part-cost scholarship. Ph.D.: full-cost scholarship, covering University tuition fee, annual stipend (sufficient for a single person), and a contribution towards travel.
Deadline
Undergraduate: The application deadline for the entry is October 15. Graduate:There will be two general course deadlines of December 3 and January 7.
