The scholarships are provided in collaboration with Schlumberger Cambridge Research Limited and are meant for pupils who are from developing countries and are following courses of research leading to the degree of Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge.
Eligibility Criteria /Scholarship Guidelines
Candidates are to be from a developing country and should be admitted to Cambridge through the University’s normal academic procedures. They are expected to apply to a Ph.D. research program in technological and scientific subjects offered at the University.
He/she should have a first class or high second class honors degree, or it's equivalent, from a recognized university. Those who are not native speakers of the English language are expected by the Board of Graduate Studies to provide the results of an English language test and to achieve the minimum standard that shows proficiency required for admission to Cambridge.
Value
The scholarship will generally cover up to: The University Composition Fee at the appropriate rate. The approved College fees. A maintenance allowance adequate for a single student.
Deadline
The Undergraduate study deadline is 15 October. And for Graduate study deadlines is December 5 and January 3.
