The BA Hons Applied Care Practice (Children and Young People) Progression Route is relevant to practitioners working with young people, children in care and education, and also to those who manage provision in the public, private and voluntary sectors. The applied nature of the degree provides theoretical knowledge along with practical application related to social care in contemporary society.
FdA/FdSc or equivalent Level 5 qualification in an appropriate subject, such as Social Care Practice, Early Years Practice, CCLD, Dip HE, or HND.
Applicants are expected to have paid or voluntary work in the relevant setting for 10 hours per week.
Applicants are required to have a Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS).
IELTS 6.0 overall, and a minimum of 5.5 in each component. IB 28 points.
Standard XII from ISCE/CBSE/ISC with 60%
