Our students are engaged in project-based learning, so they develop practical skills for challenges they will encounter as professional communicators in agriculture and natural resources. In the Agricultural Communication program, students learn to develop marketing strategies, manage social media, create visual content (like videos and photos), write engaging content for various media, design marketing materials, and more. Many students hone their skills through internships related to their interests with agricultural companies, natural resources organizations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
Agricultural Communication graduates have the advantage of excelling in communication, science, and agricultural courses — a combination future employers value.
