Program Overview

Animal Sciences prepares students to make an immediate impact upon graduation in the very diverse field of animal agriculture. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of food animal production, from nutrition to reproductive physiology to economics.

Additionally, our state-of-the-art campus facilities (Creighton Hall of Animal Sciences and the Land O' Lakes Center for Experiential Learning) as well as our multiple-species farm (Animal Sciences Research and Education Center) provide students with countless hands-on opportunities to apply what they learn in real-life scenarios.
