Accounting in Manhattan college

The accounting major at Manhattan College prepares students for successful careers in accounting. Networking opportunities and career-planning support begins right away during freshman year. By attending workshops and guest speaker events, you’ll get a feel for the industry and design your own career path. You will also be able to take the concepts and theories you learn in the classroom and apply them to real world situations. Co-curricular activities, research projects and internships are great ways to put words and ideas into practice.

• GPA of 3.4 out of (4.0 score)
• An official secondary/high school transcript indicating courses completed and grades.
• TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.5 overall.
• One letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor is required. You may submit up to three academic letters. You are also permitted to submit an additional character reference.
• A brief personal statement or college essay, using either the Manhattan College essay topic or one of the Common Application essay topics. This essay should be roughly 500 words.

• Bank Statement and Affidavit or Financial Guarantee.
