Purdue University West LafayetteThe Bachelor of Science in Data Analytics, Technologies and Applications (DATA) is offered by the Purdue Polytechnic Institute at the West Lafayette campus. This program prepares students to harness data analytics and applications to support and improve organizational decision-making. It emphasizes a strong foundation in statistical and machine learning techniques, programming, database management, and real-world problem-solving. Students gain critical skills to analyze data, develop data-driven applications, and apply analytics across business and technical domains.
The curriculum balances technical, analytical, and communication skills while fostering leadership through team-based labs and projects. Students must complete either a Statistics Minor combined with an Application Focus or an Application Focus alone to fulfill degree requirements.
