Chemical engineering in Manhattan college

Chemical engineering is the profession which applies mathematics, chemistry and physics to develop economic ways of using raw materials and energy for the benefit of humankind. Chemical engineers develop processes and products that are energy efficient, environmentally-sustainable and profitable. Chemical engineers make products such as petrochemicals, polymers, drugs, therapeutics, paper, dyes, fertilizers, foods and beverages. Practically every product that we use and enjoy has involved chemical engineering.

• GPA of 3.4 out of (4.0 score)
• An official secondary/high school transcript indicating courses completed and grades.
• TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.5 overall.
• One letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor is required. You may submit up to three academic letters. You are also permitted to submit an additional character reference.
• A brief personal statement or college essay, using either the Manhattan College essay topic or one of the Common Application essay topics. This essay should be roughly 500 words.
