This program will help the student to demonstrate skill in and knowledge of a broad range of diverse literary traditions, skill in at least two literatures-one in foreign language, knowledge of the history of literary theory and adequate ability to apply literary theory to literary texts, skill in linguistic competence in a second foreign language, skills in basic research methods, skill in written communication.
