Students who earn a Bachelor of Science in environmental science can pursue professions involved with solving environmental problems. During the first two years, students complete their core requirements. During the junior and senior years, students can specialize in an option of interest related to environmental sciences. Offered by the Department of Environmental Sciences in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences.

Environmental Science graduates work around the world in areas of local, state, and national government; industry; education; and consulting. Previous graduates have pursued graduate study in areas such as environmental engineering, water chemistry, botany, geographic information systems, marine sciences, wildlife management, and natural resources.
