Russian offers courses in the language from first through fourth year, as well as courses in Russian literature, linguistics, and civilization and culture. Russia has a rich culture, which is notable different from that of Western Europe.
The Russian major has an emphasis on the modern world on globalization. The Russian program extends outside the classroom, a weekly tea hour allows students from all levels of Russian to meet, play games, and practice informal Russian conversation. There’s also the Russian Club, which holds a variety of different engagement activities of interest. Students are encouraged to participate in study abroad opportunities.
