Welcome to the UAB Department of Psychology, Its one of the largest undergraduate majors on campus, the home of three excellent graduate programs, and a center for cutting-edge research conducted by faculty and students working together. Let me introduce you: The Psychology Undergraduate Program offers valuable opportunities that are difficult to find elsewhere. Students can work directly with faculty, engage in hands-on research in our faculty laboratories, and participate in service projects in the community. Many of our courses are available online to offer more flexibility, and we also offer a fully online degree in psychology. It has an excellent Honors Program for qualified students who are interested in continuing their education in graduate school. The Undergraduate Neuroscience Program is an interdisciplinary program between the Department of Neurobiology in the School of Medicine and our department.
