The master s degree in Contemporary Arabic Studies (MEAC, in its Catalan acronym) is a project that was developed by the UAB Department of Translation and Interpreting, and which is supported by the entirety of the department s Arabic staff. The general objective of this master s degree is to offer first-rate training in contemporary Arabic language, culture and societies, providing a response to a growing social and institutional demand for regional experts.
