In this program, students complete two CS Immersion courses before beginning core classes in the program.Concept of programming-This course will provide students with a fast-paced, multifaceted, rigorous introduction to programming in the Java programming language, while building an awareness of Computer Science more broadly. MAths for computer science-This course is an introduction to ideas and techniques from discrete mathematics that are widely used in computer science. Topics include: proof methods (direct proof, proof by contradiction, case analysis, mathematical induction), basic number theory (GCD, Euclid's algorithm, prime factorization, modular arithmetic), basics of counting (permutations, combinations, binomial theorem, pigeonhole principle)
