Ambassador Scholarships in Engineering and Mathematical Sciences

The Ambassador Scholarships in Engineering and Mathematical Sciences are offered by the La Trobe University. The scholarship is offered to 6 Australian Students intending to study an undergraduate program in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, or Computer Science at the university’s School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. The recipient of the award will be is mentored by an academic or industry sponsor.

Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines:

To be eligible, an applicant

- Should be one of the top 15% students in his or her state in the school results and should be willing to represent university at Open Days and Orientation Events.

The scholarship is only available at Melbourne and Bendigo campuses.

How to apply:

- Should email an application form along with references from school principal, teacher, or co-coordinator and a list of subject grades in year 11 and 12.

- Should submit a resume along with motivation to apply and career goals.

Value
This scholarship awards AUD 7000 (AUD 3000 in first year, AUD 1500 in third and fourth semester each and AUD 1000 in subsequent years)

The scholarship is valid for 3 years of study only if the student maintains an average of grade B in the subjects.
