Bendigo Oral Health and Dentistry Society Bursary Dentistry

The Bendigo Oral Health and Dentistry Society Bursary is offered by La Trobe University to students studying fourth year of Bachelors of Dentistry or Masters of Dentistry degree undertaking first year of rural rotations at university’s Bendigo campus. The bursary was introduced by BOHDS or Bendigo Oral Health and Dentistry Society and is administered by Bendigo Tertiary Education Anniversary Foundation.

Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines

To be eligible, an applicant:

• Should be a member of Bendigo Oral Health and Dentistry Society from the beginning of the first year of the program.
• Should outline on his or her contribution to the community in oral health promotion and how the bursary will help them financially.

Note: The Bendigo Oral Health and Dentistry Society committee members can also apply for the award but should declare their association.

Upon receiving the award:

• Should attend Bendigo Prize Ceremony and should agree to publish his or her name as the bursary awardee.
