The Ph.D. Research Scholarship in Health and Well-being of LGBTI Population is offered by La Trobe University to local and international graduate research students intending to conduct research on aging and health issues among older LGBTI population. The scholarship can be availed at the Australian Research Center in Sex, Health, and Society or ARCSHS.
Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should demonstrate high academic achievement and conducting research. The project will be supervised by Associate Professor Anthony Lyons.
- Should have completed either a Masters Research Degree with a research standard of 75 or an Honors Degree, Masters by Coursework, or ungraded Research Master’s Degree with an average mark of 70 in the last 10 years.
- In these the degrees mentioned above, the applicant must have worked on a research thesis of 15000 to 20000 words, and should have been a lead author in a peer-reviewed publication, or should have included 3/8 research component in 1 year of research, achieving a standard of 75 or above.

The scholarship is valid for three and a half years of study.
