Merit Maroon Scholarship

The Merit Maroon Scholarship program is awarded by Texas A and M University to the outstanding freshmen students. Students from any state in the U.S. other than Texas are eligible to contest for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:

To be eligible, an applicant:

• Should be a full-time first year undergraduate student at Texas A and M university who has not attended any other college or university

• Should be from a state other than Texas

• Should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0

• Should be one among top 25% in class and must meet the SAT/ACT Score requirement.

Note:

Grade Point Average will be reported for students attending non-ranking schools based on their academic profile in high school.

How to Apply:

Students must apply using the Apply Texas Application or the Coalition Application.

Value
A student with a minimum SAT/ACT Score of 1550/34 receive an annual award of $5,000. A student with a minimum SAT/ACT Score 1450/32 receive an annual award of $3,500. A student with a minimum SAT/ACT Score 1400/30 receive an annual award of $2,000
