The American Australian Association grants Fellowships each year to Australians for advanced research and study in the United States, and to Americans for advanced research and study in Australia. The American Australian Association Scholarships assemble on existing strong social and economic partnerships and foster intellectual exchange between the United States and Australia.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, you must:
A student must be an American citizen or permanent resident (dual Australian citizens/permanent residents are not eligible).
A student should be undertaking or about to undertake research or study at the graduate level or above in Australia.
A student should be studying or conducting research within the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, sustainability, medicine, and health sciences.
A student has to be accepted by or affiliated with UQ.
Plan to undertake a minimum of one-year full-time research or study.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable financial need.
