In Partnership with BP Egypt, The Cambridge Commonwealth, European and International Trust provides a number of scholarships yearly to enable graduates of outstanding academic merit to study a one-year postgraduate study at the prestigious University of Cambridge. Priority is given to applicants pursuing master’s degrees in petroleum-related studies. Other studies like business, economics and development studies will also be considered.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
Preference will be given to candidates in subjects relevant to the work of BP in Egypt - mainly Petroleum Studies, Business, Economics, and Development Studies.
Candidates must show proof of excellent academic achievement. They should have a first-class or high second-class honors degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized university, supported by certificates of graduation and letters of recommendations from Professors at their current or previous University.
Applicants who are not native speakers of English is important by the University to offer the results of an English language test and to meet the minimum standard of proficiency required for admission to Cambridge.
Students are expected to return to Egypt to work for two years at the end of their course in Cambridge.
