The Curb Leadership Scholarship is inspired by the life and career of Philanthropist, former Lieutenant Governor of California, and Founder of Curb Records – Mike Curb. The scholarship is aimed at undergraduate students who engage the local community as well as the university’s creative community to implement creative problem-solving skills and develop a project which contributes to the university’s vitality. The recipients are expected to attend workshops by renowned artists, entrepreneurs, faculty members, and students to unleash their creativity and transform the local community with their endeavors.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
The selections are based on past academic record, demonstration of creative problem-solving skills, community involvement, and an essay.
No separate application is required to be considered for the scholarship.
The recipients are expected to attend weekly meetings and workshops.
