Business administration in Coe college

The Stead Department of Business Administration & Economics offers a wide variety of classes taught by professors who specialize in fields such as accounting, advertising, business law, economics, finance, human resource management, international business, international economics, marketing, public relations and strategic management. Over the last 20 years, roughly 30% of Coe graduates have earned a major from this department.Our majors are some of the most involved students on campus. Their classroom experiences are enhanced by being involved in student government, Greek life, varsity athletics and campus organizations such as Accounting Club, International Club, Coe Environmental Club and many others.You can double major within the department or with other departments on campus. (Accounting, communication studies, economics, foreign language, math, political science, psychology and public relations are popular double majors.) Business majors can add a concentration in management, marketing or sports management. If you are interested in other disciplines, such as finance or human resource management, you can work with faculty to create a focus area

Under Coe's test-optional policy, ACT/SAT scores are not required for students applying for admission. The test-optional policy gives select students the option to decide if their standardized test scores (ACT/SAT) will be considered in the application review process. Students applying under the test-optional policy will still be considered for a Trustee Scholarship valued at $28,000 per year. Only students applying as first-year applicants with a 3.0 GPA or higher may choose to exclude their test score from the application process.
