The Teacher Preparation Program offers teacher certification programs that include both classroom study and extensive field experiences, culminating in a minimum semester-long student teaching experience. You can choose from education majors in Liberal Arts: PreK-4 Education, as well as certification options in Art Education for grades K-12, and Secondary Certification in English, Social Studies, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry for grades 7-12. Students in secondary and K-12 certification areas must complete a major in the academic discipline: English, mathematics, history, physics, biology, and chemistry.
