The Electrical and Computer Engineering curricula produce well-educated graduates prepared to practice engineering at a professional level in an era of rapid and challenging technological development. The educational objectives of the Electrical Engineering curriculum include developing within our graduates a basic foundation in seven fundamental areas of electrical engineering (circuits and systems, electromagnetics, electronics, digital systems, communications and signal processing, control systems, and power engineering) to provide the technical proficiency needed for the professional practice of electrical engineering.
