This program introduces students to audio and radio production. Students learn about announcing, audio editing, advertising and commercial design, and radio programming. Students get the opportunity to observe and work in a fully functioning, student-run radio station, WZND, learning all operations involved.Students interested in careers in the radio or audio industry or who wish to work in corporate media will find the Radio sequence especially informative. Students often complete their course-work with internships at radio stations.
