One of the only freestanding undergraduate degree programs of its kind in the United States, our Nonprofit and NGO Studies program prepares students to work in nonprofit organizations or in the fields of philanthropy, public service or community engagement. The hands-on program draws from areas such as sociology, public administration, anthropology and political science.
High School Diploma, Grades: have passing grades equivalent to a U.S. C+ average on all transcripts and/or exam scores, Completed NIU Application, Final Secondary School Transcript and/or Exam Results These documents must be official originals or attested copies, Proof of English Ability:TOEFL: Either an Internet-based or paper-based test. Required minimum scores: 71 on an Internet-based test, 527 on a paper-based test, IELTS: Minimum required overall band score of 6.0, IGCSE, GCSE, or GCE O-level or A-Level English test subject. Minimum passing grade of C, International Baccalaureate IB: Score of 4 of higher on English A Standard Level exam, Completion of ELS level 112 or submit a Duolingo English test
