The curatorial studies concentration is offered to provide professional development opportunities that expands students experiences, research, and knowledge in the field of museum and curatorial practice. The concentration is intentionally interdisciplinary in its structure, choices, and experiences, and it is open to students in all majors. Required courses include the Exhibition Development Seminar and an internship in an appropriate field. Elective courses may be drawn from a wide range of relevant courses offered in the undergraduate degree program, Division of Continuing Studies, and by area colleges participating in MICA s academic exchange program.
Portfolio of Artwork (12-20 pieces of artwork),Essay (250 word minimum), Letters of recommendation, Activities and Interest: Compile a list of activities, interests, and honors, Official transcripts - Applicants must provide official transcripts of all secondary academic work, Official test scores - ACT/SAT Scores, For International Students: a minimum TOEFL score of 80 or IELTS score of 6.5. Your application will not be reviewed for admission without at least one test score on file (TOEFL, IELTS, ACT, SAT)
