The research subject of Egyptology includes the culture and history of ancient Egypt from the early period (4th millennium BC) to the Coptic late antiquity. On the one hand, this is based on textual sources that are available in different language and writing styles, eg as inscribed monuments or papyri, and that can be literary, religious or administrative; on the other hand, the material legacy that includes temples, tombs, settlements and object groups such as sculpture, steles, vessels, furniture, etc. The research aims at a reconstruction of the ancient Egyptian culture in its entirety, which is why the study of diverse historical, archaeological, social and religious historical, cultural-historical, Artistic as well as literary and linguistic issues are addressed. In addition, the language skills are expanded and deepened.
A bachelor's degree in the field of study or study of classical studies with a focus on Egyptology , IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL ibT of 80, English language (level B2 or C1), IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL ibT of 79, English language (level B2 or C1), Letter of Motivation, CV, German Language Proficiency.
