In the year 2022, there has been a 68% rise in Indian students going to study abroad as compared to the previous year 2021. In 2022, alone, around 750,000 students have gone to study abroad in various countries. This is a massive growth and a commendable number. This shows the inclination of Indian students towards international education and studying abroad.
To prevent this outflow of money, the University Grants Commission has already established a plan. They will be creating campuses of international universities in India itself under the NEP. This way students will not have to travel outside the country for high class education. It will also save a lot of money and prevent the outflow of money from the country.
