Australian universities have been increasingly facing threats from alien sources regarding students, staff and the buildings which are a danger to the national security of the country. The intelligence bureau of Australia has taken the matter into hands and believe that the source behind all this is from a foreign country. This subject has been a matter of concern for the Australian government for many years. Back in 2020 the Morrison government launched an inquiry regarding Australia-China collaborations and the reasons behind secret information being leaked. Although the Australian government has recently said that the universities of the country are still very much vulnerable, that shouldn't stop them from collaborating with global universities. In 2019- 2020 there were more than 100 cyber attacks on universities including attempts to break into IP data related to Covid-19 vaccines.
