All the countries in the world want students from different parts of the world to immigrate and study in their universities. This not only benefits the country in terms of economy but also enhances the human capital of the country. In 2020, Australia was at the top place of having the most number of international students studying in its universities. It was followed by Canada and the UK. Global universities as a term is becoming very popular. It refers to an educational Institute that represents students from different cultures and races. The whole essence of a global university is people from different backgrounds and walks of society coming together and studying in harmony. Here is a list of global universities that had the highest number of international students.

  • Macau University of Science and Technology, Macau

88.3% of students studying in this university are from different countries. This makes it a highly global University that is conducive of different religions and ethnicities. This university was founded in 2000 and is much younger than all the other famous universities of the world but still very popular among international students. A lot of its popularity has to do with the fact that it has collaborations with over 200 universities from different parts of the world such as Australia, United States of America, Europe and much more.

  • Near East University, Northern Cyprus

Around 86% of the total students that are studying here are international. Currently a total number of 20000 students are studying here in the campus and this university is regarded as one of the best universities in the Middle East region. It has 17 faculties, 90 different departments and 4 graduate schools.

  • Jacobs University, Germany

76% of the total students studying here are international. Students from different nationalities such as India, Nepal, the US, Albania, Pakistan, Morocco and China. Almost all the courses that are taught here are in the English language. It has over 120 collaborations with other universities from different countries.
