Indian students have officially become the largest group of international graduates in the US. They also make up for roughly a quarter of the total international students studying in the US. Previously the top spot was occupied by China but now India officially becomes the largest group of international graduates in the US. The US has retained its position being the top study abroad destination for Indian students from the past many years. Countries like Canada, Australia and the UK have been the top choices of Indian students for many years. Over 1.4 Million student visas have been issued to Indian students in 2023. This is a record number of student visas that have been issued to Indian students and the US is planning to introduce some better policies in future for Indian students
