Shah Rukh Khan La Trobe University Ph.D. Scholarship
The scholarship is named after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan when he collaborated with the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IIFM) and La Trobe University to launch this scholarship for Indian citizens. This scholarship is specially designed for female researchers who want to make prominent discoveries in the field of research. Under this scholarship, the selected students get a cost-free education of four years in La Trobe University. They also get an annual allowance of AU$32,500 to sustain their accommodation and food expenses. They get an extra AU$3000 for traveling from India to Australia and the visa is also financed under the scholarship
Australia Awards Scholarships
This special scholarship is different from all the rest as it is allotted to students irrespective of their field of study and whether their position is graduation or post-graduation. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of one of the targeted institutions of the 10 states identified by the Indian Economic Strategy. The student must have a Hawa CGPA of at least 7.5 and an IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6 individual bands.
Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s Meritorious 100% Scholarship
The scholarship has been recently announced. Under this scholarship for students from India will get a 100% fee waiver. It is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The selected students will also be given priority for campus accommodation. To be eligible for the scholarship the student must be a recognized citizen of India with an Indian passport and meet the Academic requirements as stated by the university.
