Studying in the UK can be extremely expensive. But to attract lots of international students annually, the government of the UK has been giving a lot of scholarships to international students. These scholarships reduce the cost of studying abroad a lot. Here is a list of scholarships offered by the government of the UK to all the international students studying in the UK-
Chevening scholarship
The scholarship is awarded to students who perform exceptionally well in their academics. It is given to only students who are interested in pursuing their master's degree from any accredited university of the UK. It covers the whole expense of traveling to the UK, the tuition fees and accommodation fees as well.
Commonwealth scholarships
The scholarship is divided into two levels and is given by the Department for International Development (DFID). It is given to students only from the Commonwealth countries who are interested in pursuing the Masters and PhD from the UK.
Great scholarship
The scholarship is funded by both the the UK
Government's GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council under the Study UK campaign. 99. Scholarships from 36 postgraduate institutions are included under this scholarship. An amount of €10,000 is awarded to the selected students annually.
Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarship
Three types of scholarships are awarded under this scholarship. This includes WIT long-term grants, CWIT Short ResearchGrants, and Grants toward the final year of Doctoral study in the UK.
