The Ministry of Education of India offers a lot of scholarships to all those Indian students who want to study abroad but do not have the required finances. A number of scholarships are also offered by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The scholarships include National Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Castes, denotified, nomadic and semi nomadic tribes, landless agricultural laborers and traditional artisans, Scheduled Castes and traditional artisans category.
The scholarships are offered for Masters and PhD courses so that the students are able to get a job soon after completing his or her education. You can simply apply for the scholarships by going on the official website of the Ministry of Education. Students can get an annual allowance of US$15,000 for fees and a monthly allowance of US$1500 for miscellaneous expenses such as food and accommodation.
